Poem–Power of Green

Green makes me happy. When I’m outside in the midst of trees, shrubs, and other plants, I feel exhilarated, and there are reasons for this.

Green is a powerful color that is beneficial to our mental and physical health.

A walk in the woods or park is like medicine for the soul.

Soak it in, and enjoy! The leaves will be falling before we know it.

Power of Green

Nature provides rich benefits
with its powerful greenery—
plant-life vital to our survival.
What else
filters odors,
reduces stress,
speeds healing,
increases humidity,
improves air quality,
aids attention deficit,
boosts productivity, and
connects us to our planet?

Green makes me happy too. That’s what I said when I came back from Texas in June, everything down there is so brown. I love the poem because it’s so true. Green gives me energy, and that’s what I love about our state of Illinois.

I cannot imagine my life without trees. It is very important to have trees for our life. If everyone starts planting at their level to save nature, then there will be many forests in a few years.
    Very nice and green post.

    1. Mary K. Doyle

Our oxygen depends on the trees. I’m glad it all makes you happy, dear Praveen.

      1. Praveen Yadav

Where there is greenery, there is oxygen, there is life. That is why we all should come together and protect trees. We should try to plant at least one tree every year.

    O verde aqui é abundante e delicioso.

Não é só Rio Manso. Tudo aqui é mansinho e a generosidade farta!

    Abraço grande e fraterno!

    1. Mary K. Doyle

Parece que você vive no paraíso, meu amigo.
