Awesome photograph!!
Thank you, Indira. I know you like nature patters.
We need more web masters (web developers?) for WordPress!
Beautiful poem and photo π
LOL. If a spider can do it . . .
Nice post πΊπΊ
Wow, just wow. That is one heck of a web. It’s such an amazing accomplishment in being able to spin such a large web like that. What a gift from God who has given the spiders the ability to spin webs for us to be able to recognize the depths of His gifts for us. It is awe inspiring the abilities He has given to us as humans and it is even more awe how He’s given such abilities to animals and insects alike. Amazing.
Thank you for sharing. Happy Monday and hugs to you.
Thank you, Dawna. I’ve taken many photos of webs since this photo, but none show the intricacies as this one. It is truly amazing how a tiny creature can construct such a magnificent structure. Thank you for your faith-filled comment, my dear Dawna.
Wonderful, Mary. Itβs pretty amazing to see the craftsmanship of those little creatures.
Isn’t it, Edward? A tiny creature producing that massive, intricate web of beauty. Thank you for reading and commenting, my friend.
Impressive, indeed. Youβre very welcome.
Oh thatβs wonderful
Thank you for checking in, Tamyra. Have a great afternoon.
You as well
Wow, what a web master!
Isn’t that web magnificent, Rosaliene? I took that photo a few years ago, and I haven’t taken another of a web that looks that stunning. Thank you for commenting.

It never ceases to amaze me! Lovely poem.
Thank you, Dorothy. Little creature. Big work of art.
Was going to ask whether it was your own photo, but see the answers below. How stunning! Not that the spider has any inkling of our admiration… or maybe..? π
All photos on my site are mine unless noted otherwise. But yes, the spider is the true artist.
Artistic beholder as well. π
This is an impressive image of a spider’s handiwork with a great poetic description-but the web does resemble a vinyl record album. π
I see that, Nancy! Crazy.
Creative title and beautiful presentation, Mary. πΈοΈ
Thank you, Michele. I appreciate and respect your feedback. May today be filled with joy.
Love your joy-filled ending. Thank you, Mary! I feel the same about you and hope your day is off to a beautiful start. π¦
You always get such wonderful photos. I’m in awe of your talent. Well done. ππΌ
Thank you, Phoebe. Believe me, it rarely comes with one photo. I take dozens to get the one. Have a most perfect day, my friend.

Obrigada por comentar, Gustavo. Tenha um bom dia.
I’m not a fan of spiders, Mary, but their artwork is incredible and this is one extraordinary example. I enjoyed your recitation too. Your words and the image are beautiful! Nature never disappoints. π·
Thank you, Lauren. I understand your dislike of spiders. Perhaps their one benefit is how many other insects they eat.
Quite lovely and special, Mary.
Ah, thank you. I appreciate your kind words.
Mary is a beautiful poem. Thanks for sharingππΊ
Thank you, Joanna. I appreciate your feedback very much.
Wonders around
Always a fan of nature’s architects!
Linda π
Hello Linda, thank you for taking the time to comment. Those little creature sure are amazing.
I admire their tenacity too – their webs rarely last more than a couple of days where I live, and yet, they’re back at it again in no time…!! Have a wonderful weekend ahead, L xox
Always a pleasure. π
πGood morning, my dear, have a good day and good luck always
Thank you, Nougat. Blessings on this glorious day.
I’ve always admired Haiku. It can convey emotions in a way nothing else can.
I have been unable to craft one to to this day, so please, accept compliments from me as a fellow poet – if an amateur, immature and one sorely negligent of his poetry-related endeavors.
Thank you for the compliment, Hubert. I’m sure you can write a fabulous haiku. Every word counts. Haikus tend to be emotional, appeal to the senses, and I still use the standard 5, 7, 5 syllable pattern. Keep writing. I can’t wait to see what you create.
The next step in my ambitions of poetry writing would be to acquire the skill of creating the Spenserian Stanza, followed by the Everest of poetry – the Cynghanedd meter. And haiku is simply floating high above them all. They are years of training ahead of me.
I ventured into poetry through the following works, though primarily as embellishments to complement sections of a novel:
