Thank you, Nancy. Have a wonderful weekend.
Nice shot, Mary! π
Thank you, T’. Have the most wonderful day.
My pleasure! Happy weekend! π
Those wings are moving so quickly, yet the bird looks perfectly still. So beautiful!
It reminds me of a helicopter landing.
Such a great shot!!!
Thank you, Maranda.
You must have very good camera, this kind of an object is really challenging and you are extremely patient. This bird is really cute! Skillful!!
I have a Nikon 950. It is a good camera but it doesn’t have any extra lenses, so I’ve learned to work with what I have. The extra lenses are more to carry, and I can’t always get a good grip with my hands. I wouldn’t want to drop an expensive lens. Thank you for commenting, Jean. I know you are busy creating your stunning music.
I see, that is a good camera to work with and you get amazing pictures with it. Thank you for your compliments though the music I am busy with will not be uploaded to my site. Being here with my uploaded music, it has a totally different purpose. But now I go to bed and tomorrow I continue my busy projects. Blessings!
Many blessing to you, as well, Jean.

Wings disappear to an extent that I had to double take. π
Those little wings are beating fast and furiously. You can hear them when they are near.
How amazing. I see hummingbirds from time to time, but only in unusual circumstances, specific parks, etc.
They are drawn to flowers with sweet nectar or hummingbird feeders. It also depends on where you live. Thank you for joining the conversation, Stephanie.

I’m thinking of all the skills involved in being a bird, landing must be one of the hardest to master!

Thank you, dear Nougat. Have a wonderful day.
I’ve got three nests of house martins on my gable ends and they’ve all just hatched a second brood of the season. There’s something so grounding in watching nature, reminding us we’re part of an ecosystem and not stand alone creatures. Love the picture.
You are so right, Marie. Thank you for joining the conversation with your insightful words.
