Poem: The Violet Storyteller

The Violet Storyteller

Blogger friend, Violet,
teller of captivating tales,
these flowers remind me of you–
diminutive yet spirited
running across the park
on a sunny, spring day.

Violet truly is a captivating storyteller. She writes fabulous short stories that can tell you as much in a few paragraphs as many full-length novels. Check out her blog, Thru Violet’s Lentz.

What a beautifully delicate tribute to a fellow writer. The Violet Storyteller blooms with warmth, admiration, and poetic tenderness. The comparison between Violet and the tiny spring flowers is especially touching—small in appearance, yet full of life, charm, and quiet strength.

Thank you, Rosaliene. The field was vast but a full photo didn’t show the individual petals, which are so lovely in violets. Love to you, my friend.
