Happy Full Moon Friday to you, my dear Laura. I did get some moon photos last night, although it is only the moon in a clear sky. I would have liked some cloud contrast or trees.
That photo of the lavender was taken at Cantigny, but I’ve found the one place I’ve gotten lavender to thrive in my garden is dry and shady. Maybe a pot in the shade will do best for you in Florida. Love to you, Sweetie.

We love these colours very much.
We have lots of lavender here in Norfolk, it has a long tradition to grow it here. We grow six different kinds of lavender in our garden.

Norfolk Lavender is famous. We have a Lavender Centre nearby with fields of many different varieties of lavender and lavender soap, lavender bread and other lavender products.

We live in East Anglia on the north coast of Norfolk. That is the east coast of England. There it is where Norfolk in Virginia got its name from. It was the stronghold of the Vikings under Knut the Great (King Canute).

That’s interesting, Stephanie. I don’t think many people name midnight blue as a favorite color. When I was a kid, I only wanted dark blue and purple crayons. I did love that combination, also.
I wonder about it, Mary. Color pulls something from us, maybe some kind of tendency toward the depths in us, perhaps.
