This is such a profound message Mary my dear. 🥰 That photograph speaks volumes! What a fabulous shot! 📸
The sweet little finch posed for me. She was patient and allowed me to keep shooting. I kept telling her how beautiful she was and how I wanted to show everyone. She was a model, for sure. 🙂 Love you, my friend.
Well Mary my friend, you are a regular Ms. Dr. Doolittle! 😜🙌🏼🥰 This is so precious and what an awesome photo op! 📸 Have a FANtabulous week my dear! 💐🥂🙏🏼
Ah, thank you, dear Kym. You are the best.

Very true. If we continue to always look back, we fail to embrace the present. Love this poem and it’s reminders. I also love the photo. Beautiful

Deep profound, it hits a spot, very much in the now
Thank you, my friend. Have the very best day.
You as well
Absolutely Beautiful, Mary.
Thank you, dear Willie.
You are very welcome 🤗
This really resonates with me. It’s a great reminder to keep things simple and stay true to ourselves, even when life gets overwhelming. Sometimes, the best advice is the most straightforward. Thanks for sharing your words! 🌸
Thank you, Phoebe. It was one of the lessons I learned from my husband when he had Alzheimer’s. In the end, that was all he had. He couldn’t remember the past so didn’t think about it. And he never pondered the future. I realized that it he actually had it right.
That must have been so difficult for you both. 🫂🫂❤️
It was a very long, stressful, and exhausting 15 years. I still have nightmares that Marshall has Alzheimer’s and I can’t care for him properly.
Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine what that’s like for you, Mary. 🫂🫂❤️
Marshall passed away five years ago. I am beginning to remember the good times again.
BEAUTIFUL WORDS THAT RESONATE, Mary!💗💗💗
Good to hear that, Cindy. Thank you, my friend.
reminds me of the Buddhist quote which I try to adhere to: ‘Be where you are; otherwise you will miss your life’
That’s beautiful, John. Thank you for sharing that quote with me.
I’ve got quite a few quotes — Buddhist and otherwise — up my sleeve 🙂 if only I could conjure another post 🙂
Maybe, base a post on one of your quotes.
ummm will give this one some thought; thanks Mary —

🥰
Beautiful 🥰
Always wonderful, my love. Good luck and have a nice day, Mary 😍😘🙋🏼🥰💚🌷🌷
You too, Nougat. Many blessings to you.
Such a simple yet, so misunderstood message… the mind is tricky at clinging in the past, that it attaches feelings, emotions, and nostalgia that tends to make us believe we are experiencing them in the now. I try to remind myself more often that I only have NOW.
So true, Festo. Thank you for reading and adding to the discussion.
Such a lovely message with an important message, staying present in the moment is vital. That’s how we make good memories.
Yes, Pooja. Have the best day.
You too.
