Love Is in the Air

Female ducks are doing a happy dance and the males are showing off.

Frogs are scoping for the perfect mate.

Turtles are enjoying family time on the island.

Others are starting families of their own.

Remember, what happens on Turtle Island, stays on the island.

I’m sorry, Gwen. Can you tell me the problem? I appreciate your persistence in reaching out.

      1. Gwen M. Plano

        Hi Mary,

I just checked the link again, and when I tried to connect, it said, “Oops, there’s nothing found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?”

I haven’t had the problem on any other site. At least I could see your photos and respond via email.

Please don’t worry about this on my behalf. But if other folks are getting the same message, then it’s worth digging into.

        All the best to you…

        Gwen

  19. Himanshi Dargas

I got a bit confused in turtle and tortoise, so same featuresπŸ˜…

    1. Mary K. Doyle

That’s a good point. I looked up the difference and found this: “Tortoises are exclusively land dwellers, while turtles spend most of their time in the water, either in oceans or freshwater bodies around the world, only coming to land to lay eggs.” We have a lot of turtles here on the rivers, lakes, and ponds and see a lot of them in the spring.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention!

      1. Himanshi Dargas

Okay well I live in land of desert where we can`t see water bodies i have studied about them in books as a science student, so whenever I will have a visit now will remember this and tell my siblings too about the difference
