Limerick–A Picnic Under a Tree

Here’s one more limerick before St. Paddy’s Day.

*

A Picnic Under a Tree

There once was a young lady named Bea
who served a picnic under a tree.
But she drank all the wine,
and the ants came to dine
until there was nothing left for me.

That’s a lovely spring photo of a tree in full blossom-and your limerick is a hoot! 🙂

    Love it!
My mischievous English teacher from high school used to try to trick us with the spellings in his limericks, he enjoyed rattling our little brains:
There once was a young lady named Bea
who served a picnic under a trea.
But she drank all the wine,
and the ants came to dine
until there was nothing left for mea.
