Poem–Last Things First

Last Things First

First
open the biggest gift
cut the prettiest bloom
spend your money on fun
read the last page of the book
dig into those chocolate truffles
celebrate when you apply for the job
kiss–passionately–on the first date

You may not want any more.

Wonderful, Mary. I’m not sure I could just read the last page of a book—that would drive me a little crazy—but I will definitely dig into the chocolate truffles we received this weekend. 😆

    1. Mary K. Doyle

I know it isn’t for everyone, but I do read the end of the book first and also read ahead and then backtrack. I also prefer to know the end of a movie. It’s too stressful to wait it out! Thank you for taking your time to read and comment, Edward. It’s always good to see you.

Like any medical practice, check out the center. I see an MD with additional education in functional medicine. Some offices are less experienced than others Please, do let me know what happens. May you find healing wherever you go.

Pretty radical, Mary. ; ) What if we lived that way…

    1. Mary K. Doyle

At this point in my life, I want to do this because I may not live long enough for the rest of it. 🙂 And as far as reading books, I really do read the end first and have done this for many years.
